Parking

Parking is available across the street at address 11121 Long Point. Please park on the right side of the driveway, two cars deep in front of the sign — “Pure Michigan at Pine Lake”.

Parallel parking is available in the stone area adjacent to the cottage, making sure you are off of the pavement.

The indoor fireplace is for decorative purposes only and is not functional. We kindly ask that guests do not attempt to use or light it during your stay.

To light the propane fire pit:

Remove the top cover
Open the side door
Push and turn the knob to LOW
Push the ignitor to light the burner — hold for 15 seconds (if the burner does not light, wait and repeat)
Adjust the flame with the control knob

Beach & Watercraft

We want you to have the best time on the water! A few things to keep in mind:

Beach towels are provided for use at the beach — please keep bath towels inside; they’re not meant for outdoor use
After use, please hang beach towels to dry — do not leave them in the beach area
Any watercraft, life jackets, oars, and beach equipment provided at the property are for your enjoyment — please return all items to the deck or secure them after each use
Swimming and use of all watercraft and beach equipment is at guests’ own risk

Lost or Damaged Items

Any lost or unreturned items (oars, life jackets, paddle boards, kayaks, beach toys, etc.) will be charged to guests at replacement cost.

Grill Instructions

We want you to enjoy the grill! Please follow these steps to keep it in great shape for the next guests.

Getting Started

Turn the propane valve on (turn counterclockwise to open)
Set burners to HIGH and ignite
Preheat for 5–10 minutes before cooking
Grill your meal and enjoy!

After Use

While the grill is still warm, use the grill brush to scrub the grates clean
Turn all burners off and close the propane valve
Allow the grill to cool completely before closing the lid
If a cover is provided, please replace it

We want you to feel at home — treat ours like you would treat yours. Tidy up and lock the doors.

Close and lock all windows and doors
Take trash to the bin labeled 'trash' by the road — the second bin is for yard waste only
Please do not strip beds — just leave linens in place
Notify your host when you have checked out
